Ahh the good old New Syd in Hobart! (Best pub in town!)
It's been two years since I played my first ever gig there, which I only agreed to after a lot of arm twisting by a few of the regulars, so it's nice to come back again this year for the Dark Mofo festival.
This was a very fun night, and the four hours passed a lot quicker than I thought they would to be honest! Good fun, great crowd, great pub, great night!
Four hours is actually a stressful amount of time to keep playing for, so this isn't something I want to do every day!
Whilst I’m a little achy this morning, it’s mainly the mental strain that takes its toll. You kinda want to keep a flow going through the set, but it’s sooooo easy...

I've got myself a new camera! Woot! I've picked up a Zoom Q8n camera as a little upgrade to my old Zoom Q2n (A great little camera that has served me well, slightly rubbish video quality, but the audio quality is awesome!) As regular viewers may be aware, my synth decided to brick itself a few weeks ago. Wooohooo! Time to crack out the multimeter though, because the pitch calibration is WAY off!! The rig is back to where it was, but I've been putting together a little upgrade package for it. The next video should be with it running its new V6 engine, however the final upgrade should bring it to a full blown V8. Either way, it's a big step up from the previous set up! :-)

I was borderline on uploading this or not. This was just a play about with a few patch ideas, so it's not necessarily a performance as such. Starts a bit slowish. Towards the end I got a bit bored with the tempo, then it went somewhere interesting. By no means perfect though

Awesome. But the wood panels go OVER the stand…… ;)
If you put the panels over the stand, the brace at the back won't fit. See instructions if you don't believe me... api.moogmusic.com/sites/default/files/2018-04/Mother_32_Rack_Instructions_2_18.pdf I've got the wood panels over the stand on the 104hp racks, but that's only because I don't have the 104hp brace (and so it's a little more sturdy that way).
